Physical Accessibility

Our Escape Rooms and Virtual Reality arena are located accross the Lower Ground floor and 3rd floor of Easthampstead Works. The building has a lift, and there is an alternative access route to the Lower Ground floor should it be out-of-use. Unfortunately, there is no alternative access to the 3rd floor.

A chair can be placed within any of our rooms should you require one.

Otto’s Oddities

Otto's Oddities is located on the 4th floor of the Campus West entertainment complex. It is accessible via lift, but this cannot be used in the event of a fire. In order to take part in the game, you and your team must all be physically capable of evacuating via the stairs in the event of an emergency. The game itself can be played by wheelchair users and those with limited mobility, but there are two sections of the game that require ducking/crouching. We would suggest that at least one team member who is able to duck/crouch takes part in the game.

Hard of Hearing

Clues are usually delivered via a microphone directly into speakers in the room from your Gamesmaster. With notice, we are able to make adaptations to our rooms to accomodate any guests who are hard of hearing.

We recommend that someone who is not hard of hearing takes part in each of our games in case of any emergencies.

There is a single sound-based puzzle in this game; to complete this puzzle, we suggest having at least one player who is not hard of hearing. This room does feature moments of recorded audio – these audio clips develop the story of the game, but are not relevant to the puzzles within the room itself. We can replace the story-related audio clips with text-based versions on request.

Light Sensitivity & Epilepsy

With notice, we can adapt some of the lighting in our rooms to accomodate guests with Light Sensitivties or Epilepsy.

Due to the theming of this room, players may find the light is a little dim in places; phone torches are always allowed.

This room features one puzzle that has a focus on colour.
