This is the question that we get asked so much it has been promoted from the FAQ page into its own dedicated page!
In a word, no. Exciting Escapes closed down in Spring 2026, Pier Pressure have not bought out Exciting Escapes or anything to do with them, we have simply moved in to the premises they used to occupy. We are an entirely new operator with a new management team.
Also no. However, the game sets and theming that they left are largely unchanged, but we have completely redesigned the content of the games. New puzzles, new narratives, new game flow etc.
So if you have played the old Exciting Escapes games at this venue before you will recognise the sets and theming, but they are brand new games that will contain plenty of head scratching and surprises even if you’ve played their predecessors in the same space.
Sadly not with us, whilst we’d love to help, as we are nothing to do with Exciting Escapes we don’t have access to their old booking or customer data or have any list of unused gift vouchers and so we wouldn’t be able to verify the validity of any voucher.
However, clueQuest escape rooms in London have said that they will honour unused Exciting Escapes gift vouchers and they have fantastic games we very much recommend them.
