FAQ
Yes, we can. Although our largest rooms take a maximum of nine people, we can take groups of up to 48 people playing all of our rooms at the same time. A group that size would be split across our two central Brighton sites but we can take up to 36 players at just our Upper North Street location. All arrive together, split into groups and then play multiple rooms at the same time. This option is available for corporate team building groups, school groups, hen parties, stag parties and any other large celebration.
There is no parking immediately outside our main venue in Upper North Street, it is all residents only. If arriving by car, we recommend parking at Churchill Square car park and walking up from there which is only 400 metres.
There is free parking directly outside Preston Manor on the driveway.
No. Some escape room brands do like to use horror themes in their rooms but we don’t. All of our rooms are 100% fright free.
No. There are no elements in our rooms that require any kind of physicality. This is more about brain fitness and dexterity, than physical fitness.
Sadly the max limit is there for a reason and it would either be unsafe or unfun to put any more people in. If you’re a bigger group you can book multiple rooms and split into teams.
Don’t worry, even if you don’t complete the game in 60 minutes, your host will let you back out of the room.
Yes dogs are allowed in our Upper North Street and Trafalgar Lane venues as long as they’re house trained and well behaved. Our Raver Quest room does have music and flashing lights. Any damage must be paid by the owner.
Dogs are not allowed inside Preston Manor.
Every day 10am-10pm
Sadly not, due to the limitations of the premises our fire exit and toilets are downstairs.
Preston Manor is wheelchair accessible. Two of the rooms we use for the Clue Company game are on the first floor so aren’t accessible with a wheelchair, unfortunately. If you are coming to play Clue Company in a wheelchair, please let us know in advance so we can let you in the accessible entrance.
Yes you can, most of our rooms have a chair of some kind that you can rest on and you can always step outside for a breather if you need to.
Children under 14 need to be accompanied by an adult. Under 18s will need to have an adult in the building or easily reachable nearby (not necessarily in the escape room with them) or will need to provide emergency contact and medical condition details for safeguarding purposes. There is no upper age limit!
All bookings at Upper North Street are ‘private’ bookings so it will always just be your team against the clock.
Games of Clue Company are played alongside other teams but you are not required to interact with them and can avoid them by choosing rooms to explore which are currently empty.
Please arrive at the time you’ve booked for. If you arrive late, we may not be able to give you the full 60 minutes if we have other groups booked after you. Arriving early will often mean you need to wait while our team make the room ready for you.
Yes, perfectly safe. None of our rooms are actually locked so you are free to step outside the room at any time if you need some air or a change of scenery. You won’t be stuck in any small spaces, none of our rooms are smaller than an average sized bedroom.
Yes, you can. That’s no problem at all. Just give us a call or an email and we can add an extra person (or as many extra people as you like) to your booking. If the game is at our Upper North Street venue, you’re welcome to pay for the extra person when you arrive or pay in advance over the phone or via a payment link we can send. If the game is at Trafalgar Lane then we will need to take payment in advance as payment facilities are limited there.
