Game Design
If you love escape rooms and would love to create your own or think it would be a really cool thing to add to an existing business but have no idea where to start, we can help you. We can also help you if you’re an existing escape room owner who has a really great idea for an escape room but doesn’t quite know how to make it work.
With our extensive experience in designing and building escape room games and experiences, we can very quickly let you know what if feasible and how you can go about bringing a seemingly wild idea to life.
Whether you are an escape room company who would like us to design a new game for you or a business who would like to expand your offering by adding in an escape room, we can create something really fun and exciting just for you.
Depending on whether the people we are working with have a clear idea of the escape room they’d like to create or not, we always start by gathering together as many ideas as possible. We talk about aesthetics, puzzle ideas, player demographics and general wishes and ‘cool stuff’. By ‘cool stuff’, we mean features like secret doors, crawl spaces, surprises and wanting to include things like period or vintage items like our scooter in Modrophenia.
Once we have an idea of what you would like to achieve, how you would it to look, what sort of atmosphere/feel it should have and what ‘cool stuff’ you would like included, we can start thinking about what’s possible within your budget and how we can go about achieving it.
As our level of involvement can vary so much, we can then present you with a design for your new game, a roadmap of how to create your new game or our help in actually making it happen. We can even help you with the marketing and business side to running an escape room.
“We’ve worked with the creative team at Pier Pressure on a number of occasions, helping us design new escape rooms. The team takes time to understand the brief and comes up with loads of great ideas for puzzles to include in our games. Their design team also helps with the layout and look of the room, creating a truly immersive space.
We have no hesitation in recommending Pier Pressure, and will be working with them again on another new room soon.” – Gordon, Xscape Now!
